When you are writing or adding content to your blog, it is extremely important to optimize your content in order to make it easier for the search engines to find you. The search engines have software programs called ‘spiders’ that visit or crawl your site periodically figuring out what each page is about.
One of the main ways that it does this is by looking at the keywords that are used, how they relate to other keywords on the page, and how often they are used.
If you are trying to get your blogs ranked high in the search engine (and I suggest that you do – it means free visitors), then you need to follow Content Formula as often as possible. This formula applies when you are simply posting to your blog, as well as when you are writing articles or press releases for wider distribution.

- a. State your title twice; once in the ‘Title’ field that they provide, and once at the top of the body of your text directly above the rest of your content. When placing the title in the body of the text, bold your keywords.
b. In the ‘Link’ field, insert the URL to your blog.
1. For each new post or article, choose 2 or 3 keywords from your keyword list. Choose one keyword to be the primary keyword and use the others as secondary keywords.
When choosing your primary keyword, refer back to the ‘Max Bid’ column of your keyword list and choose a keyword with a high ‘Max Bid.’ This way, you know that the AdSense ads that will appear on this page of your blog (based off of the keywords you are using), will pay well.
2. Use your primary keyword in your title.
When posting to your blog:
3. Use your primary keyword and the other keywords you selected between 4 – 6 times in the body of the post or article.
4. At the end of the post, after you have finished your last sentence, hit return a couple of times and finish with your keyword (all by itself, not in a sentence).
